WAITTTT can u spoil this for me pls
1. He went into a dungeon right after meeting mc, where the monsters or the dungeon itself messed with his head, made him think everyone he loved had died and to stop that from happening irl, he pushed everyone away.
2. Something psychic escaped the dungeon and killed his parents. In order to prevent mc, the person he cares about most in the whole world to be killed in the future, he distanced himself from him.
In both situations, he just regressed mentally to before the incident happened so he doesn't understand why people think he hates him.
