Nah I think it’d still be ok if you didn’t reach out. Homophobia is a very real issue and you wouldn’t be blamed if you didn’t want to associate with or have polite conversations with someone who did that to you.
that’s true, i was thinking more interpersonal conflicts and less bigotry lol. some things im just not gonna move on, its not the gay guy or black girl’s responsibility to be the bigger person in the face of bigotry&white supremacy. and people that hateful can rarely be reasoned with through polite convos too, so best to save your breath!

maybe i should be a better person…bc if i was wronged the way this couple was, i wouldn’t have been reaching out first, let alone making nice with convos. but maybe i need to give people more grace, instead of worrying about who’s right and who’s wrong & holding on to that….
