i noticed the art too!! but i think it was the latter, i mean it's only right that jiwoo would look more mature cuz he's now taking on a new journey. also it's been what? 5? 6? years, he looks so grown up especially by the side of jiyoung
What do you mean 5-6 years? Since manhwa was published? Yes.. But it's only been like a year or so since Jiwoo became a disciple of Kayden. He's growing in an alarming rate indeed, not just physically but also mentally.
When Kayden said that while he didn't have a background himself he has become a background for Jiwoo, which means greater opportunities for Jiwoo.
Also, I feel like the art changed a bit or something. Or maybe it's just that Jiwoo has grown quite a bit in the last few chapters.
