The ML want to take revenge and his revenge is the main plot which will be revealed to involve with MC past too, the MC wish is to die since he lived for too long. But when they fall in love, of course MC wish is playing major role in their relationship and plot too.

The angst is coming, but they all have justified reason( Not just miscommunication blah blah trope). The story, the background or the action scene was well written.
Although in the novel the pace is too slow at some part, but I think when adapting to manhwa it will be better.
