I don't think he knows for sure it's him. But he feels a certain pull towards him and he can't place why. So while I do think subconsciously he thinks he acts like Abel he hasn't placed it together that he is Abel because he doesn't believe in reincarnation entirely due to all the tricks they pulled before. But I do think he has become attach to him without realizing it. && That he is finding some comfort of knowing there could be a possibility of someone who reminds him of Abel without the trickery.
