Even if a divorce is amicable, it's still emotionally devastating. More often, people end up showing their worst sides.
It's obvious she's still bitter and angry, which is making it easier for her to jump to conclusions. However, she isn't necessarily being "shameless". She is trying to take care of their child. There isn't much information about their situation, but having the non-custodial parent offset some of the costs is reasonable.

Greed, pettiness, jealousy are all human emotions, they are not exclusive to one gender or another. However, divorce laws tend to favor women. I find it amazing that so many women will bitch and moan about wanting to be seen as a man's equal, but they will still take advantage of the misconceptions held by society like they do with divorce laws and even criminal law. The ideas that women make less than men entitle them to higher alimony, being a better nurturer entitles them to custody and the child support that goes with it and IF the husband gets custody the woman's child support is never close to what a man would have to pay. The idea that women are emotionally weak or must be the sole care giver to children also decreases incarceration times and fines when women are convicted of serious offenses. Those same women who whine about not being treated equal to a man, would rather die than see their advantages taken away, even when those advantages are perpetuating misconceptions. For me, it is a prime example of how conniving and manipulative SOME women can be. To be fair, there are women who handle adversity with integrity and will ignore or oppose the advantages offered to them so readily. Unfortunately, it has become a rather popular fad to be a "card carrying man hater" who will throw away her pride and integrity while becoming a complete hypocrite in order to screw over any and all men in existence. You'll never get ahead of someone you're trying to get even with.
Bullshit, laws compensate the one who sacrifice their life to raise the kid. Most women are forced to that role even when they rather not.
If by forced you mean our biology, we have more options than men to not only prevent pregnancy but discontinue it as well. Unless you live in a third world country or in ancient times, women have nearly a dozen types of contraception with hundreds of brands available and surgical options that are either permanent or reversible. We also have the option of abortion and Plan B post conception medications. Men have condoms and vasectomy, period. So, "forced" really isn't the right word to use here, not in the case of women. However, men ARE forced to support children they never had the option to prevent or abort all the time. How many women have kept a child regardless of the father's feelings or just didn't bother to tell him until they are suing for child support? There are no laws preventing women from abandoning their children to the state. There are, however, laws that punish fathers who fail to support their offspring regardless of how unwanted the offspring may be. Those same laws SHOULD apply to mothers who abandon their children to the father, but they don't. Incarceration rates for women who fail to provide child support are negligible and the monetary amounts required by the state are half of what is required from a man. This is where women take advantage of the same "sexist assumptions" they complain about otherwise. If women want to be "equal", they should start here. And if you believe that raising a child is such a terrible "sacrifice", use those methods I've described above to prevent having to make such sacrifices. There are plenty available. You're guilty of the same as every other "feminist". You want to be seen as equal, but you will take advantage of men's desire to protect women. Playing the "poor victim", when, in fact, we have many more privileges and advantages than they do. I am a woman who educates myself, relies on myself, takes responsibility for my own actions and choices, provides for my family and does not need to be seen as a victim to achieve my goals. I have never had a problem with being seen as an equal by my male counterparts because I am their equal, my actions and attitude bear that out.
