Why are you saying the beta friend was terrible?
Well at first he was great and even helped Chowon rehabilitate himself and become a better person. But then he started acting like he knew better than what Chowon wanted. Chowon said he didn't his family around his baby because 1. they wouldn't accept beta and 2. their awfulness is why his personality turned out the way it did.
Beta experiences his family's awfulness after being kidnapped by them and proceeds to completely ignore Chowon's wishes to stay away because "tHeY'rE yOuR fAmIlY" and takes the baby to meet his family without Chowon's permission. The whole thing was just uncomfortable and cemented him as a bad top in my opinion ┑(￣Д ￣)┍.
I hope the authors writing has improved enough to actually write a good top Dojin, Dojin's sister Do-Gyeom, and that beta friend of Hyesung's were all legitimately terrible. Dojun was the only reasonable one.
