I don’t know if I’m misremembering but I think it shows more in the novel how she’s struggling a bit internally compared to the manhwa adaptation. On the other hand she could’ve convinced herself so thoroughly that Perez and Ramona will be end game that she doesn’t even consider it as a possibility.
Not really oblivious but more of indenial and intentionally ignoring the signs. I'm spoiling but Tia is actually well aware of Perez's feelings and HER feelings but she denies it bcos of her expected ending. Perez is ultimately to be King in the end of the future that she knows and that's what she wants for Perez as well this time. It's just that in their Kingdom when a King chooses her Queen, the chosen woman, whether of noble status or not, will have to abandon their name or status to be royal which is why it does not align with her goal since Tia wants to be Lombardy's Matriarch. She can't have both realistically so she denies her feeling and ready her heart for a future where she and Perez are not together.

i’ve caught up and yeah that happens but that’s later, where i was up to at the time it still didn’t seem feasible that considering all perez had done up until then she was still clueless
hmm i love this story a lot and i think its near perfect but i'm at chapter 138 right now and i'm kind of confused why the author has gone down the route of the cliche that the main character is completely oblivious to her love interest’s feelings. i’d understand maybe if it was a modern story where relationships between men and women are more ambiguous and can be close even platonically but this is historical fiction? tia’s og life was in modern korea but she’s on her second life in this world where there’s strict social conventions between the opposite sex and she’s more than adapted to it. tia has shown she is very emotionally intelligent throughout this story and can quite easily see through people but somehow she can’t figure out that the guy who has literally only been close to her, kisses her forehead, holds her hands, gifts her everything, only smiles at her and says he wants to be able to do things for her is in love with her? i just don’t find it believable when her emotional intelligence is impeccable even with other people’s relationships honestly i’d think it would be nice if she had an inkling about how he feels and would show a cute side of her struggling how to deal with it and not knowing how to confront him about it
