yeah, some readers speculate that damian's dad a surgery of some sort to have mind reading superpower (that's why there are stitches on his head). I don't remember seeing it on damian's brother's head so maybe it's a trait that could be passed on? in that case the incident would occur around when damian's brother was born. and that's why melinda didn't want damian to be born so he wouldn't have to have the mind reading power (it could have skipped him tho)

I'm assuming Damian's father isn't always like that, is it something happening after Damian's born? But then again if that were the case her older brother wouldn't have that personality as well, maybe cuz Damian is resembling more on his mother than his father?
