I don't really know how to feel about Reeze actually getting punished in this version, she doesn't originally, when they made her far more of a victim who seems to have gone nuts after a few repeats. Novel Reeze was a psycho in her original life who killed herself when she got caught and who never had an issue with the repeats or wanted to leave. She enabled the Edith reincarnation system because watching all these women try to escape her broke the monotony, she didn't care that they were getting killed. They also tone down how much of an enabler Cliff is, regardless of the mind control.
