Guys help I have a guy best friend who I usually have these super long convos with but I haven't been active on socials for a while. Then one day I went onto our chats and I saw loads of unreads and when I checked them all he (at first) started to update me with what tea was going on that day and a happy bday message for my bday, but after that he started to put the amount of days it's been since we chatted and it was kinda adorable but DOES HE LIKE ME bc he was acting like this blonde dude (but friendzoned, no freakiness)

Could be he likes you, could be he is just friendly. Even if we speculate, the only way to know is to ask. Not saying that’s an easy thing to do or that it comes without risking your friendship, but it is better than tormenting yourself about the “what-if”. Unless you enjoy the stage of uncertainty in a relationship (some do), in which case, ignore my straight forward personality. lol.
The amount of times I've watched or read stuff where one person confronts the other and their friendship ends up over is scaring me I think I'll keep it friendly until he says something suggesting smth like this thanks for the prompt
Sometimes, not knowing is part of the journey. Enjoy the friendship and the ambiguity that it may become something more. It may not, but that doesn’t mean the time you have with them now or the kindness and/or flirting aren’t sincere. I believe people come into our lives for a reason and some leave sooner than others and only last a season; others stick around. :) Wishing you all the best.
