Jay Yoon is executive director of Dream Entertainment, a subsidiary of Dream Productions which Chairman Kim is in charge of. Kim had more power with the positions. Added to the fact that Jay sold/gave all his shared of Dream Production to Kim. Jay had bought the copyright to a song for a movie that Kim and all the other executives are banking on to make it big. Because Dream entertainment is a subsidiary of the parent company. Kim had underhandedly made deals with the other executives to cut Dream entertainment from Dream Productions. Then get Jay fired. What Kim had not counted on was the song was instrumental to the movie and since Kim cannot get the song. The movie cannot be made since there is a clause in the movie contract that the song cannot be changed in the movie. If they cannot make the movie, not only will they lose the money invested in the movie but also pay cancellation fines for not making the movie. This will put Dream Production in the red or bankrupt the parent company. Since Dream Entertainment is no longer part of Dream production. The subsidiary is safe from the fines.
The plot twist is Jay Yoon’s father is the biggest stockholder so he gave all his shared to Jay which then gives Jay more power over Kim. Kim got too cocky with his dirty dealing. Kim did not realize Yoon is Jay’s mother’s maiden name. Han is his father’s surname. This is why Kim did not catch on to who has Jay’s back.
With all the shares from Jay’s father, he has the power to fire all the dirty executives along with Kim. Jay is playing Go while Kim is playing checkers. They are not in the same league
The largest stakeholder was always H corp, but H corp never involved itself with the corporation. After Jay revealed chairman Kim couldn't use the licensed song, H corp then revealed they'd transferred all their stocks to Jay, giving him the biggest number of stocks again and essentially giving him more power than chairman Kim.
We don't yet know why H corp did this exactly but it's possible "H corp" was just Jay all along, or a company set up just for this purpose so chairman Kim would think he was winning when he actually wasnt. It also revealed all the backstabbers since they didn't know Jay still had the biggest whip.
Basically, he was given a duster to do some spring cleaning :3
ok I am struggling to understand a little, so can someone clarify if I got this correctly?: So Jay is now the biggest holder over the company. Is that the main parental company? Because everyone else withdrew their stocks and put it into the other old guys new section of the company? I don’t remember what happened, but I think Jay either withdrew his stocks, or put his stocks into the main company, and I’m just a little bit confused about how Jay became the biggest stockholder. I know some president transferred his stocks to him, but I’m still confused. I don’t know anything about stocks lol
