Well....

This is just my opinion don't be butt hurt

I think the author wrote the story well
The consequences of their ego made it all fucked up for them

And Heide kinda deserves what happened honestly cause Albert is not his friend for him to talk to him like that. Yes you respect your superior but there's a line yk. The king repeatedly forgave him before saying he's naive and young, and he gave several warning to Heide not to cross the line.

Well with my morally grey opinion, that situation happened because they're human. Human makes mistakes and it's ugly. Micheal can do a better job to push Albert away but I think he didn't because in the back of his mind he still loves Albert.

I bet my pinky finger nail that Albert didn't actually do anything more to Micheal when he's not in the right mind.

In the end, they both need to sit down and actually talk with each other lol. I hope the side stories will include this moments so that they can solve the misunderstanding between them. They will only hurt each other by lying to each other and themselves.

True.. The story really showed the result of cause and effect of human actions. And it is done thoroughly in my opinion. Stuff like this makes the story a unique story, it doesn't have to be always green flags, rainbows, butterflies and cinnamon rolls. Wonder why it has low rating.

People just focus on the one bad ending and gave it low rating. I think the author writes the story beautifully wretched yk. Not everything has to be green flag coded and this mistakes are human behaviour.

I cannot see any other ending than this one yk cause this is not just like intentionally
Their action have build this brick by brick.
