Disappointing

This is so fucking stupid. Colonization by definition is always violent, marginalizing, and exploitative. There is no "good" colonization. This weak Mary Sue attempt in the FL is so annoying, braindead, and hypocritical. I liked this series at the beginning but the story has gone to who knows where and I don't care about a single character. You'd think an author from a country with a history like SK would know about how horrible colonization/tributary state/occupied status can be but I guess not. Dropped.

Hehe, actually the way I interpreted it is that the author is showing how flawed her Mary Sue mentality is by pitting her against the opinions of the rest of the cast, like Leo, the Prince, and even Aria.

It's rare that I see a manwha showing FL's strong sense of morality as a flaw rather than something the rest of the supporting cast applauds

oh fucking course its violent, but the point shes trying to make is that alough its violent it doesn't need to be more violent, people seem to be forgetting that the whole point of war is to come to an end to all the retaliation and fighting. Not to fight more afterwards, your opinion and didi's opinion are literally one and the same. idk why you're going on about Mary Sue FL when you're exactly like the braindead Gary Stu ML

I started having the same worry, especially during her debate with the crown prince on the matter, but the emperor calling her an idealist while he called his own son a radicalist was a reassuring factor for me. With all the FL's ideals, I was worried that the author might handle this war and its ravages through rose-colored glasses where everyone would get to hold hands at the end. But with the emperor saying that they need to find a way to "meet in the middle," I'm a lot more curious about the way they'll handle the aftermath of war. I don't think I'll be disappointed until I see how they handle the story at that point. I might just go back to read Kingdom if I'm unahppy with it (been stacking that war manga for years).
