It mentioned in one chapter that since Shin awakened, his dad started favouring Shin more and is trying to contact him. So the step mom and shins younger brother are trying to fuck him over using shins omega.
Also cos Shin came from a Beta lineage and Shin’s step mom looks down on that a lot. So it hurts them even more that Shin was being favoured by his dad and all society pretty more than his younger brother who came from a better lineage.
