Totally agree with you, but it also stands true I think that time really does change some people. u see morals aren't something u r born with and even personalities can change , people DO change for the worse even when they were relatively a better person in the past, even more so when such person doesn't really have a guiding hand / parental figure to lead them. It just depends on how suspectable one is to change in the wrong path. Needless to say tho , he deserves to still get absolutely fucked over and have his balls smashed because no past can justify ur actions, explain it maybe , but once the fucker cheated then he deserves whatever karma he has coming for him amen

Yea, he not only cheated, he cheated with cruelty... after her going into debt for him, and working several jobs and taking total care of him. I think his problem is he was spoiled by his persona, good looks, good at all things, praised by all, wanted by all.. he thinks he can do anything, get anything or anyone, without having to put out effort. Even if someone goes through ABSOLUTE HELL (poverty, debt, hunger), if that person has MORALS, they won't even THINK of cheating on their partner. NO MATTER WHAT. They will just break up and end things, because that's the correct and normal thing to do. So the fact that Mincheol was able to cheat on Haesoo, means his morals were bad from the start.
He said during his internal monologue that Haesoo was a challenge to win over, while Ari was not, and he found that a bit boring. Playboys love the attention and sexual pleasure they get from "easy" women, but at the end of the day it bores them and so they look for new women to catch.
