Now that I think about it, isn't this like, the ultimate love triangle? Hotaka and Minato have something going on, Hotaka and Issei have something going on, and Minato and Issei *also* have something going on.
Maybe they should all just date eachother. Quite literally a love triangle.
I mean, this is a love triangle but every cover is Minato and Hotaka, so I'm 99.9% sure that they'll inevitably be the final pairing... but I'm much more invested in Issei, tbh. Probably because he's more my type, but also because he has more of a "conflict" to resolve with Hotaka (since they knew each other before etc). Minato's main conflict is with Issei, as is Issei's main conflict with him.... but he still has a smidge more with Hotaka than Minato does, since the way she goes crazy for him is mostly one sided and Minato seems mostly just intrigued by her (which is still an interesting line to follow don't get me wrong, but still)
So this is just in a really weird place where it feels like Hotaka is intruding in a BL development. Best case scenario for this love triangle would be those two together atp. (/lh /hj)
But anyway! This story has a lot going on so it seems really fast paced, but I guess at least it means this won't be 100 chapters of Hotaka being pulled by both MLs. I really loved Hotaka, with how sincere she is, even though I hate love triangles... so maybe I'll drop this at some point, but I will try to stick through it for her! ... and also for the mangaka. The way they draw blushing men is the best.
