Sometimes trama can make you want what caused it. It takes a while to drop out of it or to even realize why you shouldn't be there.
I think it has Moreso to do with the fact that it's hard 2 believe a cruel, selfish psychopath who never gave a sh*t about him before, would suddenly grow a conscience and feel emotions like love remorse, and loss. It's just a tough sell no matter what.
This I agree with. The emperor was vicious and treated him worse an animal. There was no humiliation he didn't stoop to heaping on him.. The two scenes that stay with me is when he dumped him in the snow and left him , like so much garbage and when he raped him in front of all so cruelly. I just don't think that person is a loving human now.
Right?!? The king was barely human. The brutality and humiliation he put that kid through made him no better than a low-life psychopathic criminal. There's no coming back from that. He only ever took pleasure from causing him pain. Love, remorse, and empathy are emotions that MF could never feel. Perhaps that's the reason readers are saying he didn't suffer enough. There's perhaps the belief that if he suffered enough pain, that he would somehow learn and understand how terrible he had been, and be able to feel remorse about it. But, realistically that's not now how a psychopath's brain works. Anyway, that's the reason I prefer BL where the ML doesn't partake in such grave criminal behavior. It's hard to go along with this sh*t when the ML is so irredeemable. I mean, I like fiction as much as anybody, but the author still has to get readers to buy into the story, and I don't think they totally succeeded here. It would have made more sense 4 the kid to have runaway with the captain of the guard.
Okay that’s it I’m probably gonna stop uploading this manwha mangago because the hate of the readers here is disgusting, I’m might as well take down what we gave so far because I hate share this story with people more toxic then the crown prince

Wow, no one said one time they didn't appreciate you taking your time and effort to upload. I always appreciate and defend any uploaders. This is a critique of the author, why do you take it personal? Art is suppose to evoke emotion, and this did. Do you need everyone to say the work is wonderful and perfect? And why would you punish people who have never even posted a comment? Also, even if you enjoy this story, there shouldn't be a person who found the emperor's behavior acceptable.. I just don't get why you feel so offended that we are offended by his behavior and wished the author would have written him in a way we could be more on a character's side in this fictional story.

I didn't leave this review to leave hate towards the creator or you uploading this webtoon. I have been reading this since u started uploading it and ty. I feel like the art is good.But the redemption is nowhere near where the readers need it to be. And sometimes you don't need a happy ending. When the beginning was very terrible.
