It has gone totally different from novel but I like this change a lot more. I had a great hatred for Duke, Duchess and obviously the og couple in the novel .It's better this way. I can see that Killion becoming the next duke unlike in the novel but it wouldn't matter to me because I just want my lovely FL and ML to enjoy their peaceful life whether they are duke/duchess or count/countess.
Most of all, we get to see that Killion gets supportive parents and Edith doesn't need to suffer anymore than she did. It should be light hearted because my weak heart can't bear my lovely FL to go through anymore heartbreak. She deserves a break now.

In the novel, our beloved fl had been tortured a lot and the execution arc didn't take this fast. When she ran away, she had hidden herself in some village where she lived for some months . But after sometimes she got captured and when she was presented to everyone. Everyone could see her worse appearance. But our ml still had some doubt due to some game's affect and duke and duchess remained passive throughout the novel . They were still suspicious of her and we're always on ogFL side . At the end, older brother remained a duke which I am not sure will happen the same in comic. Our fl and ml went to their territory which they were bestowed, away from all hassle . The atmosphere of dukedom had become so intense that even duke and duchess got fed up of their elder son and ogfl. They are always at conflicts. Basically they weren't punished. They just lived their respective lives .

wow that is very different.. i was wondering why the running away felt so like short and awkward cuz with the manhwa it felt like she would go back right away but she suddenly wanted to run away but came back right after which was hella weird.. thank you so much for explaining it to me

I liked that they went away and left all the mess behind. Everyone had to work hard to pick up the broken pieces, but the mcs just left for their own happiness. Reeze also had to live out her days in dispair rather than just be killed off. I liked that too.

I also like that ending too. As living that life is the best punishment for Duke, duchess, ogml and ogfl. They would have to suffer all their life to live among each other. Our main couple was free from all these bitches without any worries and away from all politics too.

Eh I don’t like the change for the duke and duchess because it wasn’t developed well. It feels like the author changed it at the last minute in order to make readers not hate them like in the novel. If the author changed it to make it so that the duke and duchess changed throughout the story, it would be better. But with this, they just flipped a switch and suddenly they’re good guys despite not caring much about Edith the entirety of the story. It feels like a cheap change to “satisfy” readers.
