This author does dark comedy a lot, there always an underlying seriousness but at the end of the day dark comedy to make others uncomfortable. His last story was about a boy trying to commit suicide constantly
Yeah completely, but to be honest we were told since the beginning by the translation team that this story was going to be like that because the author is kind of twisted
I look at this story as just a work of fiction, which has very sad and disturbing moments from time to time, but I can't take it too seriously if the author doesn't, trying to go deep with it would only make me miserable lol
If we genre of BL away from this story,whatever Iltak has gone through is pitiful. Literally SA-ed as a child by a child too,he's homophobic for a reason. If only this story wasn't portrayed as "dark" comedy but instead shown through a sympathetic light,maybe we could have come to love his character more.
Also,people don't hate this story because he looks like a feminine person,they hate this story because he's a minor who's also constantly being sexualized for his feminine looks and figure.
