Yeah, but here I am hoping that the old 'person' reading the letter at the beggining was actually her father who came to regret everything that he did to them. And FL lived together with the ML away from her father that's why she wrote him a letter. I know its far cry from the real story but I.am.hoping. I don't want to cry more.
Another take on it that is possible and still HEA.. I am assuming in my post they left her father far behind:)
I just love how the assassin is drawn so much.. It's quirky and desperate and so interesting. This story really too such a sad dark turn... I'm going to keep the faith that it will end on a happy note, and the letter he's reading in the beginning is one she wrote after a long life together.
