Why would he go through difficulties though? all what he did was actually out of concern. From his pov what happened is that his sister was literally stalking the og ml for like a decade then suddenly stopped because of a heartbreak and said she doesn't love him anymore which doesn't make any sense because it happened literally overnight so he is trying to get the fl and og ml together for his sister to be happy. What we are seeing in the manhwa is all from the fl pov so we are seeing him as the annoying big brother but from his pov he doesn't actually know anything he is just a fool who wants to give his sister what she wants
I fr agree with you cause personally he is not giving supportive brother, he is giving "I know whast best for my sister and she will be grateful for what i am doing whether she likes it or not" so he needs to do something with himself like apologize to her for forcing him on her. Even the doctor said that the possibility of Agnes forgetting Raymond is because of the pain of rejection of Raymond but he still insisted that it's better to have Raymond with him to regain her memories....me at that time was like, WTF are you talking about???

He himself admitted that it made no sense and he knew she wasn’t directly responsible but needed someone to blame.

Even old Raymond was a piece of ahit if I am being honest he too could've stopped her but no he liked the attention and he clearly says it as he was having a mental breakdown, only after he lost all her attention he became a crazy phycho. She did what she did because of all that was going on, yes her old self is was weird and annoying but they all encouraged it. Even the brother is confused and is trying to put things back as they were like a control freak. They don't want her to stop and they encourage it. Yes Raymond was a victim but at the same time he wasn't he is an adult and knew what he was doing.
