Do you want him to change over night?, did you expect him to cry and wail in the first chapter itself? Do you understand how character development works?
yes but it's been a month and he clearly is hitting rock botton...at least there should be some " yk I kinda messed up" thoughts in his brain but all he does is blame others
Well that's Jaekyung for you. Do you really think one month is enough to change his entire character he built for 26 years lmfao? Also he doesn't even realise yet that he is yearning for Kim dan. It will take a lot of time for him to reach to the point where he will realise and regret. I dunno about you man that's how a good character development happens... Changing gradually not drastically.
well that was exactly my point...the development is so slow that there are almost no changes from the day this story started
It's a slow burn so it's expected. Also you can clearly see he is in his denial phase now so he will try his everything to prove that Kim dan doesn't mean anything to him but he will change eventually as he realises.
