I was judging his choice a bit. Regardless of the plant they come from, green onions and regular onions still both taste like onion. It would have been better to branch out, i think.
Radishes are easy to grow, and grow fast, even irl, so they're nice if you are approaching a famine and need a lot of food at once.
Pumpkin could be a really popular choice for being a little sweet, and more enjoyable to eat, as well as expanding his food options and providing different kinds of nutrients.
Honestly? Wouldnt have chosen beans either. They would be a pain to deal with and a ton of work.
I really wanted him to choose pumpkins to get magical pumpkins but beans were the more obvious route because they can last longer which helps for a famine. Pumpkin seeds are also great for food too.
Its so fun. I personally would have bought the pumpkins because they give so many seeds. Unless its a different kind. Also the baby bunnies with their little red backpacks! So cute!
