Uhm. Yes? I spent 20 chapters reading the wolf and puppy part because it was genuinely interesting and it caught my attention. Then another set of chapters of introduction to the human counterpart and I was pretty hooked! Not just about the wholesomeness, but the lore and plot gets you very interested especially with potato's backstory that is still kind of a blur currently. The memory of his real mom being so kind to him is so so so good I wanted more of it.

The BL ambiguity you are talking about just solidified my already existing interest. I'd say it was a nice sweet extra dessert. It's not like I ask for more big potato chapters, I also want it to focus on main story solely because the story is getting good with the reveal of potato's real parents and all and how he still stayed with wolf even after all that! Or if he ever find out about it at all.

Thank you for sharing , but one thing , I don't remember it precisely but I think his mother was a bit neglectful even though she did care...somewhat. I think the kid was more of a pet to her rather than her child.

As for me I don't like when a parental figure becomes a romantic interest because that means they were never a parental figure to begin with and that's just sad. Specially here where the kid only had him.

With someone you consider with that familial type of love a romance is impossible.

I wanted to see him grow up , and just be happy. I wanted to see wolf be a parent to a teenager then a young adult and I wanted to see how he handles that. For me the romance between these two are just in the way. That's all.
I wanted wolf to be a parent and potato to be a son.
