I prefer manhwas but I like mangas too.
I started with webtoons and then manhwas and stuck to reading only manhwas for quite a while, now I've started reading mangas too and I really like them but I still prefer manhwas cause all my favs are manhwas, and they're my favs cause they are plot focused and romance is a subplot, i haven't found any such mangas so...┐(￣ヘ￣)┌
I'm more of a manga fan ^.^ You tend to find more diverse subgenres in manga than in manhwa. Like for manhwa, fantasy seems divided between isekai or dungeon crawlers but manga has more variety. Plus I like the layout and lack of colour manga has compared to the scrolling format of webtoons.
Also this is more of a personal problem, but I find it easier to find new unique manga as compared to manhwa.
Strictly talking about BL/shojo, I prefer manhwa, because as someone alr said they're more plot focused and not rushed unlike one-shot manga. More developed. In general, Manga seems to be reserved in expressing their love due to Japanese culture i guess. While manhwa is more expressive since korean are more open with affection.
I prefer Chinese manhuas, I like their art style more and the fact that they censor 18+ scenes

Depends on the time of day. Daytime -manwha. I can half pay attention while doing other things and still understand what’s going on. Nighttime- manga. I can sit down and fully immerse myself into a good manga with no distractions.
Same. I mostly only read manhwas because the text is easier to see and they are longer. Mangas mostly focus on only romance.
Can you recommend some good mangas then? I usually get overwhelmed by reading mangas because there seems to be a lot going on in a single panel but i really wanna read one lmao

Manhuas have great art style but sometimes they could be really cringe. But i do think Ni Jiu is an exception tho
I always save mangas a special place in my heart becz no manhwas can give me the kind of butterfly that some of my favorite mangas did

Oh I understand! Reading manga on a phone or small device tends to be a less fun experience because of how many details manga will have. You'd probably have better luck reading slice of life or non-action manga, they tend to be less cluttered. Here's a few slice of life I like:
