I also don't think it's an omegaverse. The way I understood it is that the army wants to eventually create offsprings just between soldiers (i.e. between two men) to preserve superior genes of a few special soldiers. And since they are trying to hide that they did human experimentations on those special soldiers this has to stay in the army. So they developed a drug to change a man's constitution.
Although it may sound like it, there is actually nothing mentioned about alphas or omegas. It's just mpreg.
And the reason they drugged MC seemed to me more like getting a point across, that he is not invincible against drugs and that he should cooperate. Also they confirmed the possibility of pregnancy through the blood test. Chapter 5 explicitly states that it is the drug that makes a man pregnant, there is no mention of "inducing heat" nor a second gender.

They may not mention it, but it's implied. The drug doesn't mention anything about making or creating a womb either, so that must mean he already has one, and is recessive but the one in charge knows this because both of them were soldiers together, it just seems that one has forgotten, he was once one of these elite soldiers.
Anyways, I'm sure once more of the story is uploaded we will find out if your thoughts or mine are correct.

How can you all think it's just mpreg, when they specifically talk of producing a heat cycle, which goes hand-in-hand with an Omega, and can he get pregnant also goes hand in hand with an Omega....ugh. Anyways, please don't comment if you are going to believe something ridiculous. Go read other Omega x Alpha stories 1st.

It doesn't necessarily go hand in hand as you say. It's fiction. Omega and alpha terms are nowhere to be found yet so till otherwise, we have no reason to believe it's an omegaverse. Novel doesn't have omegaverse terms or tags either from what I've seen through a quick search.
Also, you don't have to be rude. When you are expressing an opinion publicly, others can also do the same. We can disagree, but you don't have to be rude.

Could you cite the exact speach bubble/pannel that talks about "heat cycles"? I re-read this for the sake of the argument and didn't see it. In the whole work so far there have never been used words like "alpha", "omega", "scent", "heat", "rut", "cycle", "secondary gender". Isn't that enough to doubt this would be an omegaverse?
The only used term is "aphrodisiac" which is a drug that increases libido (sex drive) and such drug normally exists and has no ties to omegaverse specifically.
You sound like someone who never read an mpreg story without the context of abo. I guess it's understandable, those stories are not as common as omegaverse. But yes, mpreg exists outside of alpha x omega stories.
Why, why, why!!! The story seems okay, but forced breeding of omegas to create human soldiers, that's a new one. And the one guy doing this is clearly going to be the one to make Sehwa pregnant with his child, while he's talk about others experimenting on unsuspecting citizens.
Anyways I shall see how this one plays out.
