yh there was something bad that happened to her so she just whispers now
I think she’s deaf but they can’t draw the sign language so they just write it as whispers

I’ve got a question. I’m a little confused about Noel the Nun who’s cared for the FL. Can she not talk? Is she like using sign language or just always whispering? Is there something wrong with her voice or is she deaf or something? They imply something is up with her, but either they didn’t explain or I missed it. Anyone know?
