Definitely has to burn the body to make it seem like the enemies got their job done (don't need a wig if it's burnt to a crisp. Plus where do you just get a color matching wig??)
It was best for uncle to think she's dead due to the spy. Now the job is taken care of, they don't need to mess with him and his harboring her.
So.. his uncle takes care of her, worries about her, gives her a place to rest/live, while mc returns his kindness by burning down the mansion and leaves without telling his uncle anything just cause she almost got killed.. come on, theres many other ways to fake your death, like putting a blond wig on that maid. Anyways, dropped after reading that chapter.
