Of course ruby is not the OG FL, it has an isekai element after all but maybe your misunderstood something but the one that posessed her also went through horrible stuff. It is also being shown in other later chapters.

Even more than that, guys. Her last life was also terrible and full of abuse, THEN she went through all the abuse in this life, too. The girl is carrying two lives worth of trauma.

I read the novel and can't remember if they actually mention this at the some point or what... I believe she was the ogFL, too, and this is actually a third life.
So she was unknowingly given a chance to fix things and "rewrite" what happened in the first life/og story. Again- I can't remember if this was actually CONFIRMED at any point or if the novel just heavily hints it and a bunch of us had taken it as canon.

Yea I m just checking this manhwa out cuz my fyp keep Reccomending this manhwa to me and my friends who read manhwa as well but I just don't find the appeal idk maybe because I just feel scared for the FL she needs to be heavily dependent on the dude and if one day the dude leave her then she will have no one to lean to when she's that weak mentally

That's... almost opposite of how things turn out tho? It's kind of wild how opposite the most recent chapter is a neon billboard for the opposite of what you just described. We wanted to give you an idea of the character because her development is that much better because she had to overcome so much... we wanted to help you understand a story you'd probably end up liking...

It's confirmed. Ruby first life was the OG Ruby, the second is the world we know but she was reborn in spain? I think as an orphan and, third she was reborn again as her original self, as Ruby again but the difference is she doesn't have memories of her first life, only her second life. It's also like your past self child was reading a future book about you, that's her third life was like, the book she read about was actually her past self without knowing it at all.

i won't give spoilers or fight with you... just know that the character development is there and the fl isn't unlikable at all after some chapter, honestly I feel sm for her. the manhwa is almost light-hearted but this book (especially novel) has really deep emotions packed altogether. i would recommend reading further but it's your choice in the end of the day!!
