That story arc is better in the novel. ML does his monologue where he opens his heart. Here in the comic it seems that he never regretted much, but the truth is that the ML was destroyed and on the verge of madness.
But I didn’t like it either. I’m sorry… but there absolutely needs to be a redemption arc. You can’t just use sex as a bandaid for what he did.
With that said - this was hot. Thankfully someone finally gave him some chapstick.
