Honestly it depends on the author. Some have them shit out babies, some do c-section. Hell just recently I read a story with a ger (a term in cn novels where males can give birth, and no its not omegaverse), and a line magically appeared the abdomen, baby popped out, the midwife put some sort of salve specifically for healing birthing wounds, and I kid you not the wound was completely healed in like an hour. Honestly m-preg birthing is all over the place, sometimes (in cultivation novels I read) the mc will be pregnant but there is no birthing at all, the baby just pops into creation, kinda like dear door. Sorry for my rant, I guess at the end of the day, M-preg is magical.
