I think the female lead’s family and how everything was exposed was really well done. I don’t usually leave comments but, I couldn’t help but want to hear more about the mother’s story. I’m not saying her actions could be forgiven, but it’s still incredibly sad yet realistic. And you know what? Even the sister’s behavior is realistic. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? The father’s personality is realistic for this time! It’s sad but it was really like this back then! Honestly, this reminds me of one of Shakespeare’s story back in high school. It’s like how the man wanted to marry the beautiful sister, but instead married the ugly duckling. He “molded” her to be an obeying wife. And in that story, the wife was perceived to live happily ever after because back then, obeying your husband was how a woman fulfills her life. At least, that’s what men said. This story here perfectly perceives that.
