Yeah, I keep wondering what she’s trying to say. It’s like they’re meant to understand that she’s been adopted while she’s also saying she’s from another world and yet she’s not saying it correctly regardless.
Maybe it's a "lost in translation" thingy?
A lot of nuanced meaning tend to get lost when translating since there isn't always a direct translation
I'm sorry but "I'm not actually from here.." wtf is up with that word putting, not "I'm not the daughter of the house, or I've been adopted.." something like that yknow? the outcome would've been the same but what the hell? That was so off putting what do you mean I'm not actually from here??
