I've read up until 1600+ chapters in the novel and there are chapter where they emphasized that Soso was a beginner before joining Mount Hua, but there are times where she throws daggers when training so I guess she knows a little bit but was not professionally trained or something?
She does join the main party. She’s more skilled in the medical field but I guess she learned some tang dagger techniques bc she sometimes uses it as a last resort. But overall, she’ll be learning in the hua sect as a beginner.

Super stoked that Soso is joining the gang!! Just one question though, does she actually know how to fight, or will she be learning as a beginner? I'd love for her to join the main party, but I think it was implied that she wasn't trained because she was only meant to be married off? Hoping to god she was training in secret or something, would love to see the family grow
