Princess: cries, blushes, wants to be useful but still gets kidnapped like an idiot
ML: we can't be in love! Because of politics, hierarchy, but I'm still jealous & overprotective
Yeah pretty much i think there is some other things too but it just becomes bland and the same basic romance

Agreed. Even if the MC used to be an animal or a pet, their shared time together made a connection, a friendship. They have a dynamic, they know each other's quirks, the MC has seen the ML while he's alone & vulnerable, the ML has seen the MC interacting with him without the burden of hierarchy. That chemistry shouldn't disappear just because the MC becomes human again. Even with the hierarchy now becomes an obstacle. While they talk alone, there should be that lingering friendship that they do know each other, beyond the veil of human/animal form.
Trueee, same thing with the manhwa about the FL turning into a crow. It was interesting when she was a crow but as soon as she turned into a human, her focus was learning palace duties and paperwork so her personality mellowed out a lot and became boring
I'm gonna miss this whole dynamic once she turns back into a human. Same thing with the Hawk Princess. They had more chemistry when she was a hawk. Hopefully this series can do it better
