Basically she ends up causing shit for the MC. She tells MC to help her hid and care for a man in the basement, and this man is part of the rebels. MC agrees to follow what Isabel asks her cause Hayes basically begging, and she says it will all get better or something (can’t exactly remember, read it a while ago). Anyways, later on the police show up and MC gets in trouble for harbouring a rebel (i don’t remember if they found him or not, I don’t think they did but they found evidence that she hid them). And so she gets thrown in prison, ML gets pissed bout this all and wants to save her, she refuses for reason ig, and that leads to them separating and going their own ways. I think he was prideful bout it.

IIRC, she pleaded guilty because other people would get in if she didn’t. I think Isabel being among them? And she didn’t want to out her for the family’s sake. So she goes against ML who was trying to keep her from going to prison but she rejected any of his help and went.
