I saw a post that the Prince died as part of Rebellion. Based on raw Pic he was stabbed while he sits on the throne. Just like in the little Pearl's letter, history needs to pave for a new world something like that.
This is just my opinion but I think the Prince already accepted his fate that he needed to die for a better cause

Not stabbed but shot. I don’t remember if he did it himself or someone else did, though I do remember the prince holding a gun. It was all part of his plan from the beginning and he believed in order to create a world without the hierarchy, they must get rid of everyone, including himself. He was planning to unalive himself since the start. What wasn’t in his plan was falling for him.
Okay okay, I haven't read this but I know the dude dies. What I don't know is HOW he dies. So why and how does he die??
