Hmmm

What shall we do with this unlikable & brainless mc?

1. There were so many issues she should have followed through, which she didn't. As a reader I am still thinking about the theft attempt on the royal treasury--- the author just left it bleeding like that (⊙…⊙ )

the mc should've tried to find out what the empress & duke were trying to steal. And again, no more attempts to steal also... unanswered

2. She is not actually a child despite the body & mind syncing with certain %. I say this because, while she may behave differently with humans outwardly, but her inner thoughts is still her past self & thus mature. She could've just gone to the library & done some research. But again nothing.

3. "Why? Why? Why?" ---Mc's favourite statement throughout 95 chapters of this manga that I've read.

4. After discovering her ability to do magic, she should've ruthlessly honed her skills to destroy her enemies of past life. But she continues to depend on her father & brother & Carmen to save her. We all know how life is. People cannot always come save no matter how much they love us. If I had a back story like her with memories of my past life & it's particular circumstances, I would be vengeance incarnate.

5. 95 chapters of this "make-believe wannabe baby mc". When is she growing up exactly?

6. No matter how villainous one's parent is, it will take enormous will to betray them. In this manga, the empress seems to love her son, the crown prince. The emotional turmoil that he must be going through to stand against his birth mother, is again left unanswered.

Are only the mc's emotions worth validation? This manga is an utter joke

7. This mc is a Mary Sue character who is loved by all for no reason. We all know that babies are cute but the scenario in this manga is so unbelievable. If the artist had actually drawn her cute, like i would understand as a reader. But she is drawn ugly as fuck. Only her father & brother is well-drawn. What is with that horrendous mop of hair that is never styled?? Is that supposed to be cute? #-.-)

Clearly you didn't read on and followed the new chapters to understand the story better. Cherie acting like a child and being how she is wasn’t even her choice, she was restricted from acting her mental age. Her father and others who helped her return to the past wanted her to live as a child for her sake, so she is growing up normally with a family that truly loves her, it isn't for no reason and she isn't a Mary Sue. She is adorable and quite smart while childish which was to be expected after learning the reason for the syncing process. Her brother going against his bio mother who acted cruel against his sister, sure it must have been hard on him but it didn't ever seem like he had a relationship with her anyway plus with her cruelty towards his sister, it must have been much easier to dislike her even more.
