This reminds me of a plot I made up in my delulu Era. There was a novel, the 2nd ML who was a God and really just a throwaway/plot device for the FL to use and be OP, but I loved him so much, he was everything. Kind, a little snarky, devoted (he fell in love with her in a past life and continues to love and wait for her in the next life) and the FL was awesome, beautiful, and ruthless (my fav type) but I hated her such when she didn't choose him So I made up a fanfic where he noticed a source of faith in a different dimension and was bored and decided to check it out and the little fan was me teehee, etc etc we live happily ever after (=・ω・=)
