It's only a needed trope in psychological horrors like killing stalking, and even in that case the rapes are never truly graffic nor shown as a good thing.
100% agree It really made me sick, I basically just skipped the whole thing bc it was so disgusting and clearly included to appeal to a very sick demographic :(
Rape is not a smut...do Korean authors have no conscience or what....don't they care that someone might be traumatised or triggered by that
