Apologize? Jaehyuk fell first and then speedran every level of nonsexual-intimacy as soon as he was given a single green light, even tho Garam wasn't on the same page. They had a really rocky start and it would have been better for him to try to take it slow.

But I digress, it wasn't really an issue until he threw a tantrum (as he has a history of doing whenever Garam tells him no) after Garam showed hesitation to meet him on that level. Yes, Garam was careless with his words when he was asked to meet Jaehyuk's needs and show more affection and it hurt Jaehyuk, which Garam should apologize for because he didn't seem to realize how important this was to Jaehyuk. However, he shouldn't have to apologize for not immediately being willing or comfortable with being vulnerable and emotionally intimate on that level when he has a history of hurt (not just from his past relationship, but also from the rough relationship he's been having with Jaehyuk, where Jaehyuk still hasn't managed to build up that level of trust because he damaged the foundation before they're relationship even properly began)

From the start, Jaehyuk has always been too pushy and he did start to figure out that he does need to give Garam space to some degree (rather than always pushing and coercing to get what he wants), but in this particular conflict he defaulted back to his pushy state rather than trying to actually meet Garam where he's at

I guess my biggest gripe with your comment is that you focus on Jaehyuk feeling unloved, which is unfortunate, but I'm more focused on how Garam could be feeling unsafe (mostly in the sense that he can't trust Jaehyuk to stop emotionally hurting him), which I think should be the bigger concern.

can we just agree they both deserve attention, and neither of their feelings are 'less' than the other? trying to act like me caring about jaehyuk equates to brushing off garam is wacky af, and btw, i agree that he "shouldn't have to apologize for not immediately being willing or comfortable," literally when did i say otherwise? all i said was he should apologise for treating like showing affection to his lover is a nightmare, it's really not much of an ask when jaehyuk has apologised for something he didn't even do (choosing to hang out/flirt w girls)

i don't get why y'all have such a big problem with me hoping they stay equals, that it's not just jaehyuk apologising, and that garam apologises for trampling all over his feelings.
