SAME. I prefer the slow build-up, and slow the tension between the characters. The feeling of will they or won't they and then finally we get the first kiss. I so done with "OH look, more smut" that never has plot and the only character development requires a redemption arc because the ML is SO toxic. I've dropped so many, like that. This one and Reunion hit the spot for me.
This is so good, love a good slow burn. TIRED of all the smut addicts books. Papapa in every goddamn chapter. Now we have plot and essence.
