Very likely so. The author could have made it slightly less obvious. But yeah, that is my guess too. XD
I asume he did it because he was jealous that a random kid was treated so well by the boss, so he wanted to instigate some trouble between them.
Yep mostly likely that's the reason
I bet it was his "brother" because the ML seemed really confused and I think he was passed out the whole time, from tripping the rock. The "brother" definitely did it and blamed it on the ML
