It actually is. The story is set in Korea. What Skylar experienced in middle school is pretty common bc bullying is very often happening at schools and nobody does anything

No, first off aside from what they go through stalking someone & taking their pics secretly or emotionally being manipulative & blackmailing doesn't fall under just teenagers. They aren't like this for their age
