Thats actually almost similar to my idea but I think they actually made it LOOK like the boy committed suicide but they actually killed him since THEY look like they got caught from the act. They aren’t even surprised their son was missing.It looked like they just left him there to rot.

Bro why can't you try to find out why you're seeing those things so the plot can advance and I can verify my theories I'm guessing the mother killed the girls baby and probs the girl too and the guy killed himself now they're cursed (DON'T SPOIL ME.)
