Why just why

Why just why was Megumi Character so ignored by the end. Like his hype definitely didn't match his character development ( if he had any). Honestly would have loved it if after he gained consciousness from being possessed, he would hv played a greater role in defeating Sukuna. And also in many different places. Felt like after Shibuya arc, Gege decided I must end the manga now and tried adding all his ideas together at once. Yuji having such accelerated growth in such little time and Megumi having almost nil growth honestly frustrated me. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
