The craziest coincidence I had while reading this is Cain's name mong meaning dream and him expressing that his time with Jooin felt like a dream he didn't want to wake up from is that in my culture dreams can represent death and stagnation. For the death one it's very literal that when you dreaming that means you aren't waking up and guess who don't wake up, dead people. Cain and Jooin literally died in their first lives. As for stagnation it's kinda symbolic that in dreams there is no concept of time so there is often no need for progress. Things can stay the same for a long time without change being needed. This dream aspect kinda represents Jooins and Cain's relationship throughout the series. Them being together all the time but never really progressing into anything eventually. Jooin keeps the relationship ambiguous even though Cain wants advancement in their relationship he knows he can't change Jooins feelings for Yahwi and therefore things continue to stay the same. In the end the only change needed in their relationship was 'waking up' which is just the opposite of his name mong. For Cain this meant letting Jooin go and him learning how to love himself and receive love form others like his family and the friends he made. Also making a new life for himself that wasn't tethered to Jooin. I love the detail of him naming his dog 'Mine' to show that that is a love that is for him. It's sweet(▰˘◡˘▰)
