Nooo his mom and Lee nok aren't the same person wtf. Jae shin keeps tabs on his mother's soul obv since he looked into Lee nok's mom's soul for him. Did u forget the Panel when they bad a wholesome conversation about it? Jae shin told Lee nok his mom had reincarnated already as a loving daughter of a nice family.. he'd not be so at ease if he knew his own mother had reincarnated as Lee nok's mom or as Lee nok.
Author didn't go into a lot of details but it seems underworld ppl don't have emotions of love or etc that we humans do so his step mom (mother of twins) never cared about jae shins bio mom and they had an amicable relationship. Yama king could've kept her immortal but he let her go cuz he loved her. Also underworld ppl don't understand or pay attention to family dynamics the way humans do despite that his twin brothers care for Jae shin like parents. (bio mom's influence )

My favorite detail rn is the flower, I think the meaning behind it was so beautifully displayed. I wonder how the authors will move forward with Jae&Lee’s relationship.. will they have the same fate as Jae’s parents..?
Do people of the other world need a human source to live? This could explain why ghosts are after Lee and why Jae first approached Lee; could also explain what happened to Jae’s father after his mother died. I’m definitely going back to reread because I might’ve missed some stuff.
