ML is more of a cheeky brat than toxic. He's the jealous type and would rather keep secrets to not hurt the MC despite the lack of communication annoying and hurting MC. There hasn't been any scene where he chains up the MC or anything like that. He just gets all irritated when others interact with his "boyfriend".
